September 28th I got to attend the Toby Keith Concert in Corpus Christi. Wow........Had a wonderful time and the concert was the best. I have no idea how someone can sing like he does for two hours and still have a voice. This was a birthday gift from my friend, Sherry. We had a great time at the concert and on our way back home to Aqua Dulce we popped in a Toby Keith CD and sang with him some more...LOL
Saturday we just kinda goofed off, checked on the dogs for a friend (one was a rottweiler so I had to visit with her). Then home to some football on TV (what happened to Texas and the Sooners? Ya think they were already thinking about next Saturday???) We sewed, we visited, we ate....just had a relaxing, enjoyable weekend. Just what I needed. Thank you Sherry for being the SUPER friend that you are. I hope you realize just how much I appreciate this past weekend.
Now it's back to the real world but a trip to Vegas to look forward to in three weeks. Life is good.
